Exciting News Ailsa to speak at Melbourne Spring Fashion Week 2007

Ailsa has been approached to give budding designers and fashion businesses marketing tips as part of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week. “I’m excited to be invited as I have worked with businesses from the industry and know how tough it can be” she said. “I am however feeling a bit stressed about what to wear!”

It’s Spring – yippee!

My favourite time of year. It’s also a great time to do a little Spring Cleaning on your marketing. What has worked well with your marketing this year? What was a bit of a dud and needs to be thrown out? What needs to be implemented to grow your customer base? I recently attended a fantastic seminar on Positive Psychology that explored what makes us happier. Many of the principles can be applied to business and in particular your marketing. One of the principles in achieving happiness is to turn our over complicated lives into more manageable and simpler ones. So to with your marketing. There are many marketing activities you could do but let’s keep it simple and do the ones that are working for you and do them well. Keep it simple and you will more likely implement them. There is no point having a great marketing idea in your draft folder! Imagine better results, more time and less stress. A good place to aim I think.
